Dear fellow Durban Agilist

With the World Cup fever abating and life starting to return to normal, or a reasonable facsimile thereof, we are gearing up for our long-awaited next Durban Agile SA Event next week on Wednesday 21 July.

The reason this is such a much-anticipated event is that we will be holding the first set of our Agile Implementation Showcase Presentations from various companies, which will put us firmly in the picture with Agile implementations in Durban, and give us the opportunity to understand the current collective Agile experience of the members of our user group.

The next two events (21 July and 22 September) will take us through 4 major companies in Durban and their Agile experience, journeys, and current Agile practices,.

Each Showcase will take the format of a 15 – 20 minute presentation, followed by a discussion forum, allowing us to share knowledge on our experiences and solutions along our respective Agile paths.

Event Details:

Date: Wednesday 21 July
Venue: SA Home Loans, Building 4, Basement venue (same venue as last time)
Time: 5:00pm for 5:30pm (there has been a broad request for this earlier time slot)
Showcase Presentation Lineup:

Slot 1: SA Home Loans –  Agility using SCRUM: the transition, the lessons, the rewards.
Slot 2:  Impro – The transition from Waterfall to SCRUM over the last 6 months.
